How Garment Remodelling Works
Every project begins with an inquiry and a careful assessment of the garment and its materials. We look at the fabric, construction, seam allowances, and condition before discussing what can realistically be changed.
During the redesign consultation, we review the concept, the scope of work, and the quote. For remodelling projects, the final price is confirmed only after inspection, and any supplementary materials are quoted separately if needed.

Stitch Journey turns existing clothing into pieces that fit your current style and practical needs.
Our work includes dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage-garment fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects. Where available, we also match original thread and trim to keep the finish consistent with the garment.
Once the design is approved, the workshop carries out the remodelling and then completes a fit or finish review at collection. A small final adjustment may be handled at that stage if needed, without changing the agreed design.
